āš” AI Entrepreneur Story Of The Week!

Starting as his thesis study at school, itā€™s now a company worth $1.5 Billion.

This is CristĆ³bal Valenzuela, co-founder and CEO of Runway. Heā€™s just bagged $141 million from investors including Salesforce Ventures for his AI content creation company that allows users to edit content with text-based prompts.

CristĆ³balā€™s main idea for starting Runway was to create a tool to run various AI models that could help with creative work. That was in 2018. As an early visionary, his work only really took off once AI tools became mainstream to all.

But what makes CristĆ³bal special, is his desire to keep pushing the limits and making this once inaccessible technology available to any user.

Take a quick look at their incredible website, youā€™ll know what I mean.
