(Reading time: < 10 min)

And believe me, I’ve got some great ones for you this week.
👉 I value community above all else. If you’re in the AI business scene, I’d love to get in touch and feature you in the coming editions of Byte-Sized! Let’s grow in this AI age together.
⚡ AI Entrepreneur Story Of The Week!
Aspiring AI Entrepreneurs brace yourselves - this one is an inspiring one!
The AI Entrepreneur Story Of The Week goes to Dan Siroker, Co-Founder and CEO of Rewind AI, with his incredible story of taking to Twitter to publicly fundraise, eventually ending with a staggering $350 million valuation. Here’s how that went down…
Before we jump in, you can check out Rewind AI’s short demo on how it aims to give humans Perfect Memory:
Personally, I think it’s an incredible product, and as it is, it’s already generating $707 thousand in ARR. But Dan has an impressive roadmap ahead for Rewind AI, and to achieve that, he’s decided to take a different approach to reach investors.
Prior, Dan had made it known that he has raised over $200 million in his career, and being wary of how traditional venture capitalists operate, he decided to forgo the traditional private fundraising path, and instead, pitched on Twitter, where he eventually landed over 170 qualified investors and the jaw-dropping valuation (he even turned down $1 Billion valuations).
For the aspiring AI Entrepreneurs reading this, I think the lesson is simple, but large - Dan managed to build trust in investors by being completely transparent about him and Rewind AI, and that led to a huge outcome. And such is the importance of building relationships within the community!
While you might not be at that stage in your entrepreneurship career, scaling it down, there are great initiatives such as #BuildInPublic (coming up!) that have the same objective. If you haven’t hopped on those already, I highly recommend making the jump! You’ll never know what doors it could open up!
👆 My #BuildInPublic Feature
My #BuildInPublic feature for this week goes to Nim (@sup_nim) with his project: Ai Agent!
Nim stood out from the rest of the projects in the #BuildInPublic feed with his eye-catching tweet - and for good reason! He is KILLING IT with Ai Agent and you’d be pressed to find more impressive first 21 days results than him.
❇️ 21 days ago we launched: AiAgent.app

And that’s because Nim’s built a powerful tool that streamlines workflows and automates tasks for you based on what you feed to it. Once you give it an overarching task, it takes those, prioritizes them by the most important task, and this allows you to systematically take down those tasks alongside your Ai Agent.
Whatever it is - blog post writing, emails, or tweets! What’s more, Nim’s built a beautiful interface and user experience with Ai Agent. It’s a joy to use! Check out this sleek demo, also re-emphasizing how professionally developed the Ai Agent project really is:
Reached out to Nim and he’s a super friendly and genuine guy. I’d recommend hopping on his Twitter and following along with his #BuildInPublic. He’s really transparent about his operations, management, and progress with Ai Agent. Super excited to see where he takes this 💪
🔨 Amazing AI Projects Worth Looking Into
Project #1: IconifyAI by Savio (@saviomartin7)
The first one up is a fantastic project! IconifyAI will give you beautiful AI-generated icons for your business in seconds.
Created by Savio, a 16 y/o designer & developer who is absolutely KILLING IT in the AI space, IconifyAI hit $10k in sales just ONE WEEK from releasing - And there’s good reason for that. The platform is beautifully designed, it’s super user-friendly, and the results are amazing.
You’ve got to check this one out!
IconifyAI.com was built in less than a week.
Today, it hit $10,000+ in sales. 💰
Now I'm on to my next AI product: MagicRecap 🥁
I'll build it the same way I did with Iconify — no prep, no planning, no design, just an idea & 7 days deadline.
Starting tomorrow! 🚀 http

Project #2: OmniWrite by Luca (@ikoichi)
Next one up is OmniWrite, a powerful tool that features a Google Chrome Extension that allows you to bring the power of AI to any website you visit! Once you download the extension, you’ll be able to pull the tool out in an instant and ask it questions, generate ideas, and more.
What’s even better is that it comes with special integrations to apps like Twitter that allow you to generate tweets instantly! Check out this demo:
I've always enjoyed the integration possibilities provided by browser extensions.
These days I'm working on integrating OmniWrite with Twitter (and other platforms like Gmail and LinkedIn).
On which web app would you like to see OmniWrite integrated?

Luca’s got a lot more coming for OmniWrite, so it’s definitely worth keeping an eye out for!
Project #3: Light by Pietro (@skirano)
This last project is a refreshing take on a GPT-4 project with so many out there trying to push the limits of GPT-4’s capabilities. Rather, Pietro has a much more simple, but underrated purpose behind Light. His tweet sums it up better than I would:
Conversations are fluid, yet AI tools feel contrived.
Why chat boxes and rigid inputs?
I built Light, a GPT-4 powered assistant for natural, frictionless conversations.
Free to try for all. 👇
Built on @Replit.

Using Light for a while, it’s really had me questioning why chatbots are designed the way they are - clunky and, for the most part, unappealing. Using Light made the user experience feel like a breath of fresh air.
Pietro’s got the right idea, and with tons of projects up his sleeves such as ChatGPT plugins like DesignerGPT, I’m excited to see what exciting projects he’s going to bring our way.
🗞 Last Week’s AI News Roundup
🔔 The Headliner: Google Just Added Generative AI to Search
The elephant in the room for this week! Google announced a plethora of new introductions into the AI scene during their annual I/O conference on May 10. The biggest bombshell was their reimagined search engine that incorporates generative AI into the search results, where some queries include an AI-generated answer, backed by numerous sources. I’d also recommend reading about Google Perspectives, another nifty addition to the search giant.
🤝 KPMG and Google Cloud expand their alliance
The two giants announced a significant expansion of their alliance to help enterprises integrate generative AI into their operations. The combination of KPMG’s experience in cloud computing and data analytics, along with Google Cloud’s top-of-the-line infrastructure, sets the stage for some exciting developments to come.
🎶 Writing Songs with GPT-4
Even though we all know GPT-4 can do it all, it never fails to amaze me just how powerful the model actually is. As part of a 3-part series, Robert A. Gonsalves has attracted the attention of many (myself included) with his AI music project. What’s best is that he walks you through the ENTIRE process, so it makes for an extremely enjoyable read for any AI techie out there.
🌎 The AI Scene Right Now
This week was incredibly eye-opening with everything going on in the AI scene.
In the big picture, we have the big dogs constantly firing out the latest and greatest new introductions into the Microsoft vs Google AI war. I think it’s going to be an exciting road ahead, seeing how Nadella and Pichai take things forward. I imagine there are going to be tonnes more jaw-dropping introductions as we go along.
Of course, hopefully airing on the side of caution, as warned by Hilton (The AI ‘Godfather’). It’s going to be interesting to see how the big players are going to balance growth against regulations.
On a smaller scale, there’s no better time to be building than now. If you have the time, I’d recommend spending an afternoon on Twitter and diving into the AI space. You’d be amazed at what some people are creating (as featured here!).
For the Entrepreneurs out there
If you’ve ever once thought “It’s already been so long since the release of ChatGPT, I’ve missed my chance to get in early”, then you’ve never been so wrong.
I can’t state this enough, but if you are thinking of creating something in the AI space, you are still SO EARLY. It is an entire blue ocean ahead of you and yes, the parallels to the dot com boom are correct.
You are in a unique and amazing position, and I’d love to see you create something, no matter how big or small. Take that first step, build a small product, then iterate on it. I’ve seen so many creators on Twitter just this week alone, and the only reason they’re killing it is because they got started.
Happy creating, and I’d LOVE to help you gain traction in your journey. If you want a shout from Byte-Sized, all it takes is one DM 😊

Closing Thoughts
If you found Byte-Sized AI useful, do reach out! I’d love to hear from you 😀
As mentioned, my main goal with this is more than a newsletter - it’s to build a community. Once Byte-Sized gains a large enough following, I’ll be continuing into the next phases of creating a Discord channel and more avenues for AI entrepreneurs to connect.
The Byte-Sized Roadmap:
Phase 1 - Building an audience of AI entrepreneurs, both new and already killing it
Phase 2 - Turning that into a community, opening a Discord & more for you to connect with each other
Phase 3 - Becoming a launchpad for new AI startups to gain traction— Shane (@Shuggggan)
